Krosna Experience

Slow down, feel and understand the Dalmatian way of life.

Bringing authentic boutique Primošten heritage experiences for travellers who want more than just a standard tourist tour. An unforgettable discovery of Primošten through stories about stone, olive and wine. Let yourself be guided by Ana, your local expert and guide. Slow down, feel and understand the Dalmatian way of life, an experience you won’t forget, bringing home a memory that doesn’t fade.

Once upon a time when life had its slow, calm and different way of existing than today’s, people of Primošten and all Dalmatia found their peace in their vineyards and olive groves. Alongside the olive tree and the vine, stone shaped the landscape. Surrounded by it from birth to death, people learned to work with it, adapting it to their needs and developing the remarkable skill of cultivating vines and olive trees among bare rocks.

Their determination to produce wine and olive oil from this harsh and unforgiving land is truly admirable. Behind it lie real stories of generations of Primošten families who sacrificed much to provide for themselves and their loved ones.

Today, these landscapes offer paths to deeper meaning.

Allow yourself the luxury of a slow and peaceful journey into the past with Krosna Experience. Discover the cultural heritage and history of Primošten through a boutique experience that will help you better understand the soul of Dalmatia.

These experiences are more than a tour. They are a journey into roots, identity and living heritage. Through family stories, dry stone walls, vineyards, olive groves, local traditions and authentic encounters, I invite you to discover Dalmatia through the eyes of someone who calls it home.

Bucavac vineyard from the air

Stone, Olive & Wine

As candles flicker on the table in our family olive grove, surrounded by dry stone walls, I will pour you a glass of Babić wine grown in the Bucavac vineyard. My father and I harvested the grapes and made this wine together last year, just as he once did with his father.

Built by the people of Primošten in the late 1940s without machinery, using only the dry stone technique and the strength of their hands, the Bucavac vineyard is a protected cultural asset of Croatia and is included on UNESCO’s Tentative List. For its uniqueness it tells a story about stone, sun and the sea. Babić is authentic and timeless. Immerse yourself in Primošten’s stone, olive and wine traditions!

Dry stone workshop with Ana

Dry Stone Workshop

A famous Croatian proverb says:“Stone by stone, a palace is built.” In your case, stone by stone, it’s a wall built in an authentic local family olive grove. A dry stone building technique protected by UNESCO is taught by Ana, leader of national and international dry stone wall workshops, and built by you. It’s a unique heritage experience with a bit of theory, some practice and a lot of fun.
